An ordinary college student’s life shatters when an anonymous call from a covert agent reveals a dark truth about his friend’s death wasn’t an accident, but a calculated murder. The killer? A ruthless assassin known only as Skrillex, who slaughtered to steal a mysterious device called Curex; a drive capable of rendering any world currency worthless. Meant for government protection, the drive now lies hidden on an untraceable island, guarded by elite commandos. But there’s a twist : Skrillex is a mirror image of the boy. Drawn into a deadly game of deception, he is asked to become the assassin’s shadow, using their uncanny resemblance to infiltrate, manipulate, and track him down… before Curex falls into the wrong hands, and the balance of global power is obliterated.
What began as a fascination with cameras became a lifelong passion for filmmaking and this film was its spark. I started shooting in 2015 during my college years, but between 2016 and 2020, corporate life pulled me away. Then came the pandemic, a strange blessing giving me the time and resolve to finish what I had started. Before this, I made dance videos and small creative projects, but this was my leap into something bigger. With limited resources yet boundless determination, I single-handedly handled story, direction, cinematography, VFX, and editing which was self-taught in an era before such skills were common where I’m from. Months of shooting, countless hours of editing, and bold choices in fast-paced camerawork and color grading shaped this film. It carries flaws, as all films do, but to me, every frame is proof of passion’s power over limitation.
